Enriching the Forest - Native Tree Care and Ecology

On Thursday, March 21st at 6:30p.m. Island Nature Trust will be hosting a free Webinar entitled: Enriching the Forest – Native Tree Care and Ecology. This online seminar will be taught by Daniel McRae from the Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry Project. 

This webinar will be focused on enhancing the health of our native Island trees and the myriad of habitats where they can thrive. Topics covered will include species tolerances, pruning for the future, enhancing biodiversity, improving wildlife habitat as well as common local issues & threats.

This event is tailored for landowners who are interested in stewardship, woodlot owners, environmentalists, people working in conservation and anyone who loves our Island habitats!
