Island Nature Trust (INT) and Nature PEI will hold the 31^st Neil Bennett Autumn Birding Classic on September 27, 2025 (rain date is September 28, 2025). The Neil Bennett Autumn Birding Classic is a fundraiser and a significant birding event. Teams with four to six members gather pledges and head out in the wee hours of the morning to find as many species of birds as possible in one 24-hour period. The event documents the species seen during autumn migration. The results are published in the Island Naturalist for researchers to help explore species change over the decades in PEI. Proceeds raised supports conservation of natural areas on PEI.  

To make it a success, we need you to simply make a pledge or, better still, form a birding team (it can be a backyard bird count team with friends or a field team) and collect pledges for the great work being done on natural areas conservation!
