Brittany MacLean

Land Stewardship Coordinator

Brittany grew up on the Island, fostering a passion for the outdoors exploring the Island’s many hidden gems, later, making a career of it. Brittany received a technical diploma in Wildlife Conservation from Holland College and a Bachelor of Environment and Natural Resources specializing in Wildlife Conservation from The University of New Brunswick. After working with a couple of different environmental organizations Brittany came back to the Island as a Stewardship Technician with Island Nature Trust, later becoming the Stewardship Coordinator.

Now living in Brackley, outside of work Brittany enjoys spending time with their English Setter, Brier, (an honorary member of Stewardship Team) and training and traveling around the Maritimes and the Eastern USA competing in lumberjack sports, a unique sport they found a passion for while at UNB.
