Janell Smith
Finance Manager
Janell grew up in central PEI and has an educational background in business and accounting (BBA, UPEI and CPA designation). To better align her passion for the protection of our shared environment with her daily work, she decided to go back to school in 2019, completing a Masters of Environmental Practice from Royal Roads.
Janell joined Island Nature Trust in 2020 and is passionate about all aspects of the organization’s work, with a special interest in bird conservation!
In her free time Janell enjoys hiking with her family, reading nature-related books, and volunteering with other environmental groups.
