Lance Moore
Conservation Coordinator
Lance obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis on botany at Northwest Missouri State University and the University of Eastern Finland. His work has included stints with the Connecticut Agricultural Research Station and the Appalachian Highlands Inventory & Monitoring Network. Lance received his Master of Science degree at the University of Alberta where he worked on comparing coarse woody debris characteristics in post-harvest and post-fire island remnants a decade after disturbance. Lance has the pleasure of working with Land Acquisitions at Island Nature Trust, leading species inventories and property baseline reports.
When Lance is not working at Island Nature Trust you will either find him getting screamed at while sailing with the Charlottetown Yacht Club, used as a human jungle gym at his church’s children’s ministry or working into the wee hours with his ecological forestry/landscaping side projects.
